We stayed at this quaint little B & B called the Holmberg House. It had such a warm inviting feel and the owner Kellie was fantastic. We were right around the corner from the campus and an area of town called Campus Corner. You can walk around kind of like downtown SLO on Higuera. It was so alive. The front porch was just amazing. We sat out front often in the morning and evening to read, have a glass of wine or just chat. Here are some pictures of the house, garden and our good friend Kellie.
Being a christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.
