Being a christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

Father's Day BBQ and Swim
For Father's day we all met up at Larry and Sheral's for a BBQ and swim. The kids had chicken fights, Aunt Holly and Uncle Shane came down for the mountains for the weekend and we all cooled down in the pool. Even Uncle Rick was out visiting from Texas. What a treat. We all pitched in to get Larry a cool Dodger Aloha shirt. He thought it was great and Colby loved showing everyone that it had baseball buttons on it (the buttons look like baseballs). He thought that was so cool.

Swimming Lessons
I can't believe how big my littlest boy is getting. Colby has been fearful of the water for quite some time. We finally got him to swim in the deep end and jump off the diving board this week. His Aunt Shelly took extra time with him last week so he could overcome his fears. We are so grateful. He is so brave and I am so proud of him overcoming his fears.
Burke is awesome at swimming as usual. He is perfecting his stroke and getting better at backstroke.

Swimmer Elle
Elle had swim lessons this week- Mommy and Me she got geared up for it at Uncle Shane and Aunt Holly's pool last weekend. She and Debbie hung out while Elle tried on the goggles. She just loves the water. No fear of jumping in. This can be good and bad but for now I am so thankful she wants to swim.
