Hitting the slopes

While we were out in Park City we went skiing a couple of days. Burke and Kayla are finally good enough they didn't have to go in ski school. So we decided to give them a little break from it and Dawnie and i just skiied with them all day. They did such a great job. Burke always trying to shoot through the trees and go over jumps. Kayla followed burke a couple of times. She is such a trooper. She never complained about the cold. Boy was it cold that day. only 8 degrees the high.

Frozen in time

I just thought these trees were so amazing. The way the moisture in the air just seemed to freeze on them. They almost look fake. They are truly beautiful My dad enjoyed the sight with me.

Snowshoeing

I have wanted to go snowshoeing every year we go out to visit Dawn and somehow we never make it. This year Dawn got the boys to watch the kids while we hiked up a mountain in snowshoes near their house. It was quite a work out but a lot of fun. Dad took the kids into the hot tub. They had a ball.

We drove to Park City this past weekend to visit my sis and her family. They hadn't met Elle yet so it was a great first meeting. The first day we spent shopping and sledding. What a combo I know!! We had a couple of crashes and a lot of fun. The area is right by their house in the park. There was so much snow I couldn't believe it!! WE almost got stuck on the way there in the car. But GOd was watching out for us.
