Indiana Jones BIrthday Cake

Here is the Birthday Cake I designed for BUrke's birthday, He wanted a camping Indiana Jones theme. We made Banana boats for his sleepover party but on his actual birthday I made this. It is hard to see but it is a whole scene. A large fallen redwood log with ants and a river flowing by, Indiana Jones camping out and fighting the bad guys. Okay Mom was a little silly.

Puerto penasco- aka Rocky Point for Dad's Birthday

This place was so amazing! Beautiful beaches, pristine pools, perfect weather! Dad had an awesome birthday trip. We spent time on the beach under a palapa, in the pool, collecting sea shells and everything in between. What a fun trip. Thank you John and Debbie for letting us join you! We had such a wonderful time. Of course thanks to Kyle and Connor for giving up your beds!

Party activities

The kids all had fun with the party activities entertained by ANthony. We had water balloon games and fights, butterfly wands and tag. Mostly, boys against girls.

1st birthday party

On Sunday we had a birthday party with the family for Elle. Of course it was sweltering outside but we made it through. Luckily we have forced air now. Elle was so cute in her butterfly dress. Mommy had been saving it from when she was born. Dad's best friend gifted the dress to her and I thought it was a perfect party dress. Mainly because the dress being white will be destroyed after one wearing. She was such a cutie. She played it up for everyone at the party. Mommy found her the blue boa and couldn't resist.

Firefly

I think I am losing my mind. This was one of my first clues. forgot the camera for Colby's birthday celebration with his friends. Luckily my friend, Spring took some pics on her phone. The kids had a ball painting cups and vases at the firefly ceramics store in Ventura. We did this on Colby's birthday. It has taken me all month to figure out how to get them from my email to my computer to store so I can post them.

Elle's birthday cake

Elle had such a great time on her birthday. We spent time with friends and family. I'll be posting lots of pictures. Here is her fun with the cake.

Wacky Bop

Aunt Andrea and Uncle Ron got Colby this crazy game on his birthday called wacky bop. Everyone including adults and Elle had a ball with this thing. You stand in a circle and hit the ball back and forth. Sounds kinda silly but lots of fun!

Burke goes skimming with his new board. Kayla, Burke, Colby found a fun log to play on and were excited to find a cross on the beach. They showed how much they loved God by putting it on top of the log.

Games on the beach included wheelbarrel races. Erica and Burke vs. Gregory and Ian vs. Kayla and Jules.

Burke was very excited this year to have a beach Birthday party. We lucked out and found 3 camping spots at Emma Wood State Beach. WE spent 2 nights at the beach with Grandma Sheral and Grandpa Larry, as well as with Uncle James, Aunt Shelly, Kayla and Connor. On August 9th, His birthday 9 of his best friends joined us at the beach for fun and games. Burke asked for a surf board but mom and dad got him a skim board. He has become quite the little skim boarder after spending 2 days in Ventura.
