Our niece McKinley is such a girly girl. This year for her birthday she wanted a Princess on Ice party. She invited all of her girlfriends to come skate in their favorite princess dresses. Luckily for us the party had to be the weekend we came to visit due to it being snowed out the week before. The boys had a great time too. Learning to ice skate and defending the princesses with shields and paint stick swords. McKinley loved the gift we got her. The Barbie Mariposa dress up outfit and pink feather boa to match. She insisted on changing into it at the ice rink.
Being a christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.
