We found a dog on Wednesday morning running outside our house. He had no tags just a blocak collar on. I took him to the vet to check for microchips and placed an ad in the newspaper about a found dog. The boys have already adopted him as our own. Dad jokingly called him Ol' Yeller and the name stuck. So I guess he's ours until we find his owner. He has lots of energy and is lots of fun. He may end up being the new dog we get for Christmas.
Being a christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.
